Viewpark Church | Find a Christian Fellowship Near You

Glasgow Church of Christ is a non-denominational, Jesus focussed fellowship that maintains the teachings of the Bible. We express our love for God, His word, each other, and all those in our neighbourhood and beyond through our practical commitment to the teachings of the Bible, which we use to live out our faith in the world.

Our church is incredibly diverse, incorporating those from all walks of life consisting of families, students, singles, and a lot more. We affiliate with ICC Missions family of churches in the UK and the International Churches of Christ worldwide.

St Mungo’s legacy in Glasgow is one that has grown and evolved over the years. As a church, we believe that Viewpark can still thrive through the preaching of God’s word and the application of the Scriptures in our everyday lives. By demonstrating our faith to others through our deeds and actions, we aim to assist others to discover the plan that God has for them, and share his love with as many people as possible.

As a congregation, we believe in God’s forgiveness and in His ability to alter all elements of our daily lives, relationships, and family life.

It might be daunting to study the Bible on your own, particularly if you are new to it. But just like any other relationship, developing a real understanding of the Scriptures needs time, effort, and authentic interaction. In order to help you check out the Bible we have produced a series of topical Bible-studies that covers subjects like:

Faith – What is faith, how is it described in the Bible, how does it operate in my life, how does it influence my decisions, and how does it associate with God?

Seeking God – How do I pursue a relationship with him, why should I, and what does that even imply?

The Word of God – How the Bible is the divine authority of God and how can we use it in our lives? This will help us live lives of stability, purpose, and expect the future.

Jesus – His identity, His character, His love, His conviction, His mission and His sacrifice. How he lived, his focus, his vision, his heart, how he overcame temptations, hurt, ridicule, betrayal, worry, anguish. How he is the hope we all so desperately need.

Discipleship – How our mission is to satisfy Jesus’ objective for us by assisting others in growing, preparing them to follow him, and training them to do the exact same.

Sin/conviction – Understanding and accepting the reality of our issues that separate us from God, how it hurts us and our hopes, dreams and relationships.

The Cross – Understanding how Jesus’ sacrifice– the ultimate act of grace and love– his death, burial, and resurrection solve the concern of our sin that keeps us from God.

Repentance – By making us knowledgeable about the power the Gospel has and the power we need to alter our mindset, the Gospel assists us in conquering our sin and becoming more of who we are intended to be.

Baptism – How we receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, which provides us the capability to live a renewed life while being absolved of our sins and liberated from anything prevents us from living a life to the full.

The Holy Spirit – How the Holy Spirit runs in a Christian’s life and how we allow him to continue operating in us as we mimic Jesus’ love, service, and sacrifice.

The Church – Realising your function in God’s plan and the actual significance of “church” as a family of followers dedicated to loving, serving, forgiving, motivating, laying down our lives, and sharing our hearts and possessions with one another, instead of a building.

Viewpark Family Friendly Church for All Ages

No matter your age, social status, education, cultural background and heritage, we believe that Christianity is for everyone.
