But much like any other relationship, dedicated engagement and effort are required to be able to truly comprehend the Scriptures. Faith – What is faith, how is it described in the Bible, how does it operate in my life, how does it affect my decisions, and how does it relate to God?

Seeking God – Why should I pursue a relationship with God, what does that appear like, and what does it mean?

The Word of God – How the Scriptures are the divine authority of God and how we can practically apply them in our lives today, hence bringing integrity, focus and purpose into our lives with a hope that reaches eternity.

Jesus – His identity, His character, His love, His conviction, His mission and His sacrifice. How he lived, his focus, his vision, his heart, how he conquered temptations, hurt, ridicule, betrayal, worry, anguish. How he supplies the hope we all require so desperately.

The Cross – Understanding how Jesus’ sacrifice– the ultimate act of grace and love– his death, burial, and resurrection solve the problem of our sin that keeps us from God.

Repentance – By making us aware of the power the Gospel has and the power we need to change our mentality, the Gospel helps us in conquering our sin and ending up being more of who we are planned to be.

Baptism – How we receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, which empowers us to live a renewed life as we are forgiven of our sins and free from what entangles us from living a life to the full.

The Holy Spirit – How the Holy Spirit works in the life of a Christian, and how we continue to let him work in our lives as we mimic Jesus in his love, service and sacrifice.

The Church – Understanding your place in God’s plan and the actual meaning of “church,” not as a building or cathedral, but as a family of followers committed to loving, serving, forgiving, motivating, laying down our lives, and sharing our hearts and assets with one another.

Cumbernauld Family Friendly Church for All Ages

We live and gain from one another because we regard church to be like family, both in dedicating to and obeying the Scriptures and in following Jesus, learning each day to become more like him in his ideas, deeds, options, love, and grace. Despite age, we believe we are to serve one another as Jesus served others and minister to each other through discipling relationships. We see from Scriptures that Christianity very much is a “one-another” religion, sharing a common faith and common love for God and each other.
