Glasgow Church of Christ is a non-denominational Bible-believing Jesus focussed fellowship. We express our love for God, His word, each other, and all those in our neighbourhood and beyond through our practical commitment to the teachings of the Bible, which we use to live out our faith in the world.

The Cross – Comprehending Jesus’ sacrifice, the ultimate act of grace and love, his death, burial and resurrection and how it solves our issue with our sin that separates us from him.

Repentance – By making us knowledgeable about the power the Gospel has and the power we need to change our mindset, the Gospel helps us in conquering our sin and ending up being more of who we are planned to be.

We are a diverse church with members varying in age from 14 to devoted baptised disciples over the age of 80. As we consider church to be like family we live and learn from each other, both in devoting to and obeying the Scriptures and through following Jesus learning each day to become more like him in his ideas, actions, options, love and grace. Despite age, we believe we are to serve one another as Jesus served others and minister to each other through discipling relationships. We see from Scriptures that Christianity very much is a “one-another” religion, sharing a common faith and common love for God and each other.

Our Barrhead based church provides a variety of ministries to fulfil the requirements of every member of our congregation, consisting of marital relationship ministry, student ministry, children’s ministry, women’s and men’s ministry, teenager ministry, and singles ministry. We hold activities for those particular ministries, including marital retreats and events, teen camps, teaching and training for kids’s ministry, singles events, and events focused on fulfilling the requirements of students.
