We’re thrilled to welcome back our fellow church members who will be returning from a refreshing camping trip near Aviemore. The bonds that are formed through camping are unique and special. Just like Jesus took his disciples on transformative journeys, we believe that spending time in nature and building connections with one another strengthens our faith and fosters deeper connections.

Cycling Trip: Calling All Cycling Enthusiasts
Join us on an exhilarating cycling trip through the scenic countryside near Glasgow. We’ll be traversing easy cycle tracks, allowing us to soak in the breathtaking views and immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. During our ride, we’ll have the opportunity to make pit stops for refreshments or simply take in the picturesque landscapes.
This event is not only a chance to stay fit and active but also a wonderful opportunity to introduce your friends to our welcoming community. Cycling together provides a unique social experience that brings us closer as a church family.
70s Party
Get ready to turn back the clock and boogie on down at our groovy 70s party! We’re celebrating Marie’s birthday at her house, and we invite you to join us in dressing up in your favourite 70s attire. Prepare to be transported to an era of bell bottoms, tie-dye shirts, and funky dance moves.
The night will be filled with timeless hits from the 70s, delicious 70s-inspired food, and plenty of dancing. This event promises to be a whole lot of fun and a great opportunity to let loose and create lasting memories. Feel free to invite your friends and let’s disco the night away!
More Evangelism Every Thursday
We believe that evangelism should be an enjoyable and meaningful experience. That’s why we’re taking a different approach by bringing evangelism to you. Every Thursday, we’ll come to your location and join you in running errands or accomplishing tasks, all while reaching out to people along the way.
We want to make evangelism a natural part of our daily lives, interweaving it with our regular activities. It’s a chance to show kindness, extend invitations to church events, and make genuine connections with the people we encounter.
Let’s make a positive impact together, spreading the love of God in every interaction.
Preteen Camp
Attention preteens! We have an exciting opportunity for you to attend the annual residential camp in southern England. This camp is designed to create a fun and engaging environment where you can meet peers, make friends, and explore the joys and purpose of the Christian life. It’s a fantastic chance to deepen your faith, develop lasting relationships, and have a blast.
If you’re interested in attending, please reach out to Mike or Marie for information on transportation arrangements and registration details. We’re here to support and guide you on this transformative journey.
Luke Sermon Series
Our captivating Luke sermon series continues throughout the month of July, delving into the thought-provoking theme, “How far would God go to save you?” Each sermon will focus on a different aspect of God’s love and redemption, providing deep insights and valuable reflections:
- God Became One Of Us
- God Sought Us Out
- God Taught Us
- God Died For Us
- God Proved His Resurrection
These sermons will not only expand your understanding of God’s incredible sacrifice but also strengthen your faith in His unwavering love for us. Join us as we explore the depths of God’s grace and discover the transformative power of His salvation.
In addition to the aforementioned activities, our church also hosts three small groups, each with its own unique set of activities and meetings. These small groups provide an intimate setting where you can grow spiritually, connect with like-minded individuals, and form lasting friendships. To find out more about the specific events happening within these small groups, please speak to someone at the Glasgow Church of Christ.
We encourage you to get involved and discover the joy of connecting with fellow believers on a more personal level.
Furthermore, we understand that personal spiritual growth is a journey that requires individual attention. That’s why we offer personalized Bible studies tailored to your needs and interests. Whether you’re a new believer seeking a solid foundation or a long-time member looking for deeper insights, our dedicated team is here to assist you.
Simply reach out to us, and we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time and place for these meaningful discussions.
And let’s not forget our midweek meetings. Join us every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at the Clyde Community Hall for our enriching midweek gatherings. These meetings provide an opportunity to dive deeper into God’s Word, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and strengthen our bond as a church community. Additionally, we have separate midweek meetings on the first Wednesday for men and the third Wednesday for women. The venues for these meetings will be confirmed soon, so please stay tuned to our website and announcements for the latest updates.
