Glasgow Church of Christ is a non-denominational, Jesus focussed fellowship that upholds the teachings of the Bible. We express our love for God, His word, each other, and all those in our neighbourhood and beyond through our practical commitment to the teachings of the Bible, which we utilise to live out our faith in the world. As a group dedicated to sharing our faith within the neighbourhood and reaching others for Christ, we consider ourselves to be a restoration movement.

With families, students, and singles from all walks of life, our church is extremely varied but also very close-knit. In the UK, we are associated with the ICC Missions family of churches, and internationally with the International Churches of Christ.

The legacy of St. Mungo in Glasgow has broadened and altered throughout time. The teaching of God’s word and the application of the Scriptures to our lives, we believe can still be utilised to make sure that Lochwinnoch continues to succeed. We believe our faith is shown in our deeds and actions and our goal is to share the love of God to others and to assist others understand the purpose and dream God has for them.

The Cross – Having a clear understanding of Jesus’ sacrifice, the height of grace and love, his death, burial, and resurrection, and how it resolves the issue of our sin that keeps us from God.

Repentance – Understanding the power of the Gospel and its power to transform our frame of mind and therefore transform and alter us, assisting us to heal from our sin at the same time, becoming more of whom we were indicated to be in the first place.

Baptism – How we receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, which empowers us to live a renewed life as we are forgiven of our sins and devoid of what entangles us from living a life to the full.

The Holy Spirit – How the Holy Spirit works in the life of a Christian, and how we continue to let him work in our lives as we mimic Jesus in his love, service and sacrifice.

The Church – Realising your purpose in God’s plan and the true meaning of “church”, not as a building or cathedral, but as a family of followers, dedicated to love, serve, forgive, encourage, lay down our lives and share our hearts and ownerships with one another.
