Welcome to the first Sunday Service of 2025 at the Glasgow Church of Christ! Our theme for this year is “Faith Building Miracles of the Bible”, as we study and learn how God’s miracles inspire and grow our faith.
Today’s Service
The service begins at 10:30 AM with a time of worship led by Simon Phillips and Shona Tootil. We will lift our voices in praise through songs and hymns. Adam Birr will then share a communion message as we come together to partake of the Lord’s Supper, remembering Christ’s sacrifice. Following communion, Mike Jarvis will deliver the sermon “The Miracle of the Salt” based on Matthew 5:13-16, kicking off our yearlong faith-building study of Biblical Miracles.

Salt and Light
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
