Message Summary & Reflection
The resurrection of Christ is the most significant time in history. We judge our time by everything that came before or after.
The resurrection of Christ gives us hope.
The demon-possessed man’s life was ruled by evil.
In the same way, we are chained by our sin, it is stronger than we are, we are not powerful enough to fight it ourselves.
Jesus chose to go to a place that other Jews would consider unclean.
And when the demon-possessed man sees Jesus he was afraid about he knew Jesus was coming to bring change.
There are many times in my life I can fear change even if it’s positive, I fear change because I don’t feel in control of it.
Jesus doesn’t want to just heal us and leave, he wants to get to know us, he wants to have a friendship with us.
Jesus brought rest and peace to the man and he wants to do the same with us, in Christ we cab find rest.
