About the Glasgow Church of Christ
|
We are a non-denominational christian bible based church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and is God, that he died for our sins, and
was raised again so that we could be saved. More about our church beliefs can be found on the "Core Beliefs" page of this website.

On Sundays we meet at the Partick Burgh Halls on Burgh Hall Street in Partick at 3pm each Sunday afternoon. Partick Burgh Hall is close to the Dumbarton Road and less then 5 minutes walk from Partick underground, railway and bus station. We also have a Mid-Week service, which is also held in the Partick Burgh Halls.

|
Our church membership is composed of students, young professionals, people currently seeking employment, families and retired people.
|
We support the Glasgow Simon Community via a monthly collection on Sundays. The Glasgow Simon Community help some of the tens of thousands of people who
experience homelessness on the streets of Glasgow each year. The help the Glasgow Simon Community offer includes providing soup kitchens, street teams, hostels and education projects. We also
support work by Hope Worldwide in India by meeting the financial needs of an adoption programme at an India Orphanage and by meeting the financial needs of
a computer training project in Bangalore, India. The computer training programme helps poor people in India to get qualified enough to get a well paid
job so that they will be able to support their entire family. Most Sundays we take up a collect for Hope Worldwide UK which helps support projects mainly in the UK. These projects include Homeless projects in London and Drug and Alcolhol recovery programmes.
